Baby Boy - Shadow box frame

Good Morning!

The Bob N Betty - Tiny Tots paper pack is totally mesmerizing! Each time I receive the papers I am amazed at the detailing in the patterns - the illusion of depth & layers just keeps me staring at the designs! This pack is so very shabby chic & I just love the soft baby color. Here is what I made - a 12x12 shadow box frame.

Almost all the embellishments used inside the frame are from the pack itself! I have used foam squares & small wooden cubes to pop up the fussy cut elements!

Here are some close ups -

The box has two photo mats for baby pictures -

Especially for You - Bleaching Technique

Good Morning!
Sharing a card today in which I have colored the heat embossed butterfly using the bleaching technique. I also have a tutorial on this, which you can see here. I always loved the pink & kraft combo.........what do you think of the touch of gold!!!

Here is a close up of the butterfly, I achieved the shaded look by controlling the amount of bleach. The diagonal stripes on the side are hand drawn & heat embossed.

Double Easel Card with tags

Good Morning!
When I received the Bob N Betty - Amor Mio collection I was amazed at the endless possibilities the paper pack offered. It had tags, frames, paetterns to make embellishments, sentiments & even layouts! I wanted to incorporate so many of these elements in my card. So here it is a beautiful romantic but vintagy double easel card. Hop over to the blog here, where I share a pictorial to make this. Hope you enjoy it!

Decoupage - Wall Planter

Today's post is for Sharada of HappyMomentzz, a crafty pal I met along my blogging journey. HappyMomentzz specializes in adorable & quirky scrapbooks, journals & baby books. Sharada's venture turns 5 in May & I am joining her celebration by guest designing for her. Hop over to her blog, where I share this decoupaged metal planter.

Decoupage - wall planter

These galvanized items are the newest additions to the Itsy Bitsy range of decoupage blanks & so is the vintage butterfly pattern paper.

Plaid Background - Birthday Card

Good Morning!
Popping by to share a fun card with a stamped plaid background (Mudra Stamps - Play with lines), inks used - Simon Says Stamp). The adorable sentiment is a Studio G stamp from Itsy Bitsy.
For this card I wanted the background to pop through the bold OMG in the sentiment. For this I heat embossed the stamped sentiment on vellum & colored the letters with the Chameleon pens & overlaid the vellum panel on the plaid background. This not only muted the background but created a faux plaid effect in the letters too! Awesome!

Guest Designer - Crafty Boots Challenge

Good Morning!
Today I am Guest Designing for Crafty Boots Challenge, where the theme is MONOCHROMEyou can use any materials you like to make anything you like, for example, a card, a box top, a gift bag, a scrapbook page, or an ATC, an inchie. I chose to make a card in a rather bold combination - black & orange, inspired by my card here. The stamped (Stampendous stamp) zinnia colored with distress inks  is fussy cut & over laid on a card panel, the diagonal background of which is heat embossed. Here is another card using the same stamp in which I used Gansai Tambi watercolors for the zinnia.
